Needed: Volunteers for New Family Mentors Program

A new program to welcome families who move into DSISD during the school year will be started in 2012-13. Families that move into Dripping Springs ISD will be offered the opportunity to connect with a volunteer “mentor family” to help them adjust to the Dripping Springs community, district and culture.

Volunteer families to serve as mentors will be gathered through involvement of the campus PTAs. Ideally, a list of 15-20 families from each campus will be compiled. Matches between new and mentor families will be made based on ages and campuses of children.

Tickets to see the Round Rock Express

The Round Rock Express rewards students who achieve perfect attendance during the final grading period of the school year with free tickets!!  The Grand Slam Attendance Program is open to children in kindergarten through 5th grade in the surrounding areas.  Read all about it  when you click here!
